Pneumonia

Hi - just a quick post - we decided to take Boston to the doctor today because his cough is not getting better. He does have pneumonia, so we got an antibiotic and decongestant/cough medicine from Dr. Pinano. Boston is napping now back in the room with Peter. I figured out that the wireless internet reaches to the pool area so I could post this quick update while watching Hannah and Jacob in the pool, and ask you all to pray for Boston. He has still been a pleasant little boy, but not as perky and not sleeping as well at night.

There was heavy rain last night and this morning, so a lot of the island doesn't have power. Talking to the security guard just now by the pool, he said the hotel has one power line that was not affected - so we are still enjoying power (mainly the air conditioning!) here. The clinic didn't have power either, but the doctor just examined Boston by the light of the open door. We just showed up without an appointment, he saw us, gave us the two medicines - and we paid $17.50 total.

  1. We are praying for Boston and all of you, and hoping that he recovers quickly. He is such a doll, and we are fascinated with your entire journey. I look forward to reading your blog each day, and can't wait to meet him once you return.

  2. You all are my thoughts and prayers. Love reading the blog, and seeing all the pictures of the kids. 9 people coming out of the tuna can must have resembled the clown car at the Shrine Circus.
